1 Tianjin MERCAT0R Lamp C0.,Ltd.a wholly foreign-owned American enterprise ， is engaged in designing,manufacturing ， installing and selling lighting equipment.The company occupies aland area of 355 m2 .Founded in 1990,it is one of the earliest comprehensive specialized enterprises for indoor and outdoor lighting engineering and for civilian lighting equipment fabrication.Under the company there are 3 divisions:an engineering branch company,a project depadment and a lighting equipment factory.The company's agencies are scattered on both sides of theYangtze.The company has completed many large-size illumination projects ， such as the illumination project of Tianjin tend-thousand seat gymnasium ， the wqject of Zhuji gymnasium inZhejiang province.the outdoor and indoor illumination for Tianjin TV and Broadcast Bureau,etc.The company is powerful in terms of technical capabilities,and with the products leading in modern fashions.The company has been certified in accordance with the lS0.9002and cooperatingwith SIEMENS Germany,in fabricating lighting facilities.

2Company's structure

    Tianjin MERCATOR Lamp C0.,Ltd.whose headquarters are located at NO.703 Gate 2 JianGuo Road(Minzu Road Intersection)Hebei District,Tianjin China consists of Production Department.Domestic and Overseas Market Department.Project Department.Engineering Department,Financial Department and Administrative Department.with the whole staff being 92 persons.

The Marketing Department is responsible for sales promotion,negotiations and collecting of imformation to report to the company.General manager and bring back to the Project Department.where technical solution's are formulated,which are given then to the Engineering Department and the Factory to the be realized.

The Project Department is responsible for the execution of projects,gained through negotiations by the Marketing Department.for installation and maintenance works in accordance with technical solutions.

The Financial Department is engaged in financial and budgetary management and in directing the assignments of the funds.

Sales agencies of the company have been established in such cities,as Shanghai,Guangzhou,Haikou,Tanggu.Yantai,Shenzhen,xi-an,Beijing,nanjing,harbin,ect.

3 Factory located at Xuguantun village.Wuqing County,Tianjin,not far from Jing-BaoRoad 、 the land area being about 5800m2 .2800m2 of which are under buildings.There are 28 units of machinery operating.The production value in 1993 was RMB6,670,000 the protlts being RMB1.480.000.The production value in 1994 was RMB l0,000,000 the profits being RMB2,000,000.The products of the factory include hundreds of kinds and sizes of various f1uorescent lamps.clecorative lamps.footlights and project lamps in accordance with SIEMENS standard.Some kinds of fluorescent lamps in energy-effective lamps are sold in USA.Hong Kong,Macao and countries in Southeast Asia.
